Lena Mitson's business, Mother On Earth is a small, new business offering support for women, as mothers helping mothers. Their services include babywearing education and supplies, blessingway ceremonies and unique baby shower planning, postpartum doula services, massage therapy, handmade clothing and other goods, and a refreshing, fun approach to mothering that is environmentally wise and good for the whole family!

Mother On Earth is the brainchild of Lena Mitson and Sprite Obadiah. They live in neighboring cabins on the top of a mountain at almost 9,000 feet elevation, about 45 minutes drive from Denver and 30 from Boulder.

Lena is a mother of two. Being a HUGE fan of babywearing, she has made it her hobby, as well as an obsession, to learn as much about it as she can. She is also a crafter and likes to make anything from clothing, to bath salts and soaps. She enjoys quality time at home with the family, hikes, and hanging out with the neighbors.

Sprite is a mother of two. She just finished her first semester of massage school and is eager to start her business doing massage therapy. She is also an aspiring midwife, that put her training on hold to be with her kids while they are still young. Midwifery is her passion. She loves to cook, bead, make bath salts, and other crafts.

Lena will be speaking to Cherished Children parents about the benefits of babywearing and will demonstrate the use of a variety of carriers. Bring your carriers and your questions!
